Only two Mustangs interested me, and they were both Mustang II’s. They were completely original, and mint. Speaking of mint, here is my favorite car in the show:
Here are my favorite two vehicles in the entire lot:

...Yes.

It was completely original, I do believe it was even unrestored. There was patina, just not to an extreme.

Nope, there was an officer at the gate.

I also saw the Model A that some guy daily drives around here. It’s not a hot rod, it’s stock. He is braver than I.

Geez. He’s braver than both of us!

I though he just drove it often, but then one day during a rainy rush hour, I saw him in line. I stopped complaining about my sketchy stock brakes.

Good for him!

‘56 T-Bird is best T-Bird

I’m not a huge T-Bird fan, but this one caught my eye. It’s apparently unrestored and original. It had a little patina, but nothing worth covering up. In a show full of the same cars, modified the same way, It was nice.

Maybe because I typed it with an English accent. ;D

It’s the SC-Wildstangs, I have nothing but disappointment for them and their generally-rude behavior, I’m not surprised that you weren’t interested by their turnout.

They may have been there, but this was the Mustang Club of America’s show.

Ah, interesting! I’ve only heard of that group because of the 2011 V6 Mustang having a MCoA dress-up/minor-performance package.

From everything I’ve heard about them, they sound like a really great group in general, but it was just a bunch of mainly S197s(which I have nothing against, I just don’t think they belong in a show when they are stock. I can’t wait for the Peach Festival car show this year.

Mustang Club of American is cool in my books.
I just hate the SC-Wildstangs because they’re half the reason why downtown Columbia car meets no longer exist. When we had a huge car meet at the public parking garage on Taylor Street on a Saturday night, the Wildstangs decided it was a GREAT IDEA to loudly rev their engines, which got the stancer Honda to rev back at them.
....Did I mention that the Taylor Street parking garage is RIGHT NEXT TO A HOSPITAL?
The city’s police department was waiting for a reason to kick us out, and they did it quickly. It’s been 3 years since then and it’s impossible to get back on the city’s good graces to hold another meet there.

Yeah, MCOA actually does a lot of charity work through Make-A-Wish, Ronald McDonald House, and so on, so they are really great. My Mom has a friend with a son who has cancer, and they have made that kid’s dream come true well more than one time. I hope to start attending shows more often though, especially when I get my Camaro or FiST.
